Actively Listening.

HEEHEEHEEHEEE. Puffy trees! :D
Actively Listening. It's an activity we had to do for starters in Humanities. We were told to grab a partner and label ourselves A and B. Then, we went on to KN. There were two pictures labeled A and B. Those students that were labeled A had to look and describe the A picture. Same goes to the B students. The aim of this was to describe the picture to your partner. The partner had to draw out what the person said. We had to use descriptive language and to be very detailed. We also had to use words like densely, sparsely, compact, big, small and tall. We also had to use our imagining skills because we had to have visual structure of the picture in our minds.

a) My drawing was KIND OF accurate. CJ did a really good job describing the picture, I just don't really draw good.
b) My partner's drawing was KIND OF accurate also.
c) Yes, my picture was easy to describe.
d) I found it easier to describe because I already had the picture in my mind which made it easier to imagine.

This task helped my learning. It helped me become more attentive by listening to my partner. If I didn't, I wouldn't be able to complete this task.

I should use more descriptive words. I should also use more imagination.
