"A waterfall starts but with one drop, and look what becomes of that."
As I read this quote, it reminded me of another saying from a Chinese philosopher, Lao Tzu, and it was: "The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” How I interpreted the initial quote was that it takes little insignificant steps to produce something great in the end. It affects the topic we're doing right now because many people are convinced that a man only himself cannot achieve such revolution in a country.
ELP Topic
I have chosen to do choice number 3 because I think it would be an experience to explore the topics we haven't fully focused on but making sure they fit to what this topic is generally about.
I have decided to research on the Colombian Armed Conflict & Drug Trafficking because I think this really affects the development of a country considering the involvement of many groups, from the Government, the opposing organization (guerrillas), the civillians (Indigenous people & peasants) to the outside organizations (UN, The United Sates of America)

- · To be able to extract information from valid websites and reform it in my own words.
