South Africa. SOJJ. British Empire Project Reflection.

The key focus of this learning opportunity is that we make an accurate poster on the countries that were colonized by the British, as a group. We should understand the impacts of a country being colonized. Also, we learn the different perspectives on the colonization. Like, the native's point of view and Britain's.

Yes we worked as a group. Each of our team members were given a specific role to speed up on our work.
Like, Olivia was to summarize the information collected.
Sorfina was to design the poster.
Jasmaine was to help stick the information and she also helped Olivia gather some information.
I drew a map and I also gathered some general information of the country.

We definitely worked well as a team. We got good information and our poster was kinda nice. It wasn't messy. Yes we achieved our group's success criteria. This is because we put negative and positive opinions into our poster and we explained about what happened from the beginning of the colonizing of South Africa 'till the end of it.

We could communicate more to develop our teamwork skills. Also, we weren't sharing some of the information with each other, so we should do that the next time we work together.

I learnt that I should talk to my group more. And if my group needed help, I shouldn't just neglect them and do my own work, I should help them as much as I can.

This learning experience has made an impact on my life because it has taught me that teamwork plays an important part in a group project and I should make the use of it. Like they said, "Many hands make light work."

I could elaborate on my ideas and information in the poster.
